Kilchurn Castle sits on the north eastern end of Loch Awe in Argyll. It was first constructed in the mid 15th century as the seat of the Campbells of Glenorchy, who were at the time were the most powerful branch of the clan. I took this on a journey back from Skye if memory serves! ðŸ˜
