A nice evening with great light on the castle, though sadly one of those sunsets where all the best cloud is behind you! My weakest image and composition of the night in my opinion, probably better elsewhere in my timeline!
Alnwick Castle is Norman in origin, with the first parts being erected by Yves de Vescy around 1096.
The current castle is now open to the public but is still inhabited by the current Duke of Northumberland and his family.
The quiddich and some other scenes of Harry Potter were also filmed here, not to mention the opening titles of Blackadder ðŸ˜
