It had been my original intention to grab a sunset at Port Wemyss of the Rinns of Islay, but rain persisted close to sunset so I started to head back to Port Ellen. Things started to open up a bit approaching the picturesque village of Port Charlotte so I popped down to the pier to take a few shots before the rain came back.
You can also just about see Port Charlotte lighthouse further down the coast.
