Arran is quite rightly dubbed 'Scotland in Miniture', with rolling glens to the south and the more rugged North with Sannox and this, the Arran range and the distinct Goatfell mountain.
I remember this day well as it started fair and sunny, I was in the north photographing a slipway in Catacol when from nowhere came a raging hail storm, which caused me to get assaulted by the S5's boot when putting the gear away. It finally turned to snow which gave the Arran range a nice dusting.
